Gateway South

My name is James Mckinlay I’m, a civil engineer with Gateway South working on the Darlington Upgrade in South Australia. The reason for our office move was due to the demobilisation of our site compound, but we also wanted to create an open plan collaborative workspace for our team of 130 people. Which consists of Gateway South, a joint venture between Laing O’Rorke and Fulton Hogan, our client DPTI and our construction verifier JHD. As part of this process, we approached Michael Morton from AJM to assist in the design, planning, fitout and project management phases of the process. The biggest challenge we faced was the limited timeframe and strict deadline we had to complete the move. But we are very happy with the finished product and AJM’s ability to complete the move on time and within budget.
